Kevin Crossman, from the Frat Pack Tribute Podcast present his success strategies for those wanting to make great shows with no staff, in no time, and with no budget. His presentation is aimed at those who don't want to quit their day job, and are podcasting their passions as a hobby for little or no financial gain. His tactics are perfect for hobbyists that are going it alone, reporting on their favorite television shows, social issues, or travel instead.

It all starts with the book "Guerilla Marketing" by Jay Conrad Levinson, and how to apply those tactics to podcasting. Crossman presents a number of unconventional promotional activities for those on a low budget – focussing on time and imagination instead of money. Word of mouth campaigns, relating to your listener's daily routine, and effectively using the smaller size of your operation to your advantage all embody this alternative philosophy.

Learn how to approach time management and audio post production without compromising your other commitments: your family, career, and your sanity. By leveraging your existing hobbies and passions, networking your audience and other podcasts correctly, it's entirely possible to continue producing great content with no staff, little time, and no budget.

Kevin Crossman personifies the niche hobbyist podcaster. He currently produces The Frat Pack Tribute Podcast, a show devoted to comedy actors including Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell. Crossman calls his podcast the model niche-podcast. The show nominally focuses on the seven famous "Frat Pack" actors, proving that no subject is too focused for a successful podcast topic.

Crossman has a notable background with niche websites, launching the Lip Balm Anonymous website in 1995 and The Search for the Ultimate Mai Tai in 1998. To promote his websites, Crossman has appeared on two television shows including The Daily Show and has been interviewed on dozens of radio shows.

When he isn't behind the microphone, Crossman works as a Web Manager for a Fortune 500 firm and spends time with his wife and two boys in Fremont, California. He is also active in Toastmasters International, recently receiving his Advanced Toastmaster Gold speaking award.
