PNME 2007: Educational Podcasts:
So that seemed to be a really natural modality for me and I have discovered kind of in retrospect. You know, I hoped that one of the ways that this would be used would be in education, that other educators would discover this series and use it as supplementary material in their courses because there is a real treasure trove here of material, now of content that’s available for free with major figures in the field and as I say, it’s – and I’m not going to be talking about my podcast all the time, I assure you but I just want to set the context for where I’m coming from so that you know what experience base I’m drawing on and what I’m sharing with you.
So as I see, it’s very broad. I interview traditional psychologists, psychotherapists, a Tibetan Rinpoche, psychoanalyst, people who do tarot, meditators, Buddhists, dream workers. So it covers psychology of leadership. I mean I could go on and on. The feedback that I get from listeners is that they’re continually amazed by the diversity of offerings and of the interviews.
So I think I accidentally stumbled into a wonderful format for educators. I didn’t have this format going when I was actively involved at the university but believe me, there’s a link on the psychology department home page to the show and there are other places out in the world of higher education where there are links to it.
