PNME 2007: Master Radio Techniques
PNME 2007 #22: Master Radio Techniques and Avoid Radio Traps
Podcast and New Media Expo 2007: What can podcasters learn from broadcasters? And what radio modus operandi should podcasters NOT emulate? In this fast-paced session, one of radio’s best-known programming experts will discuss scripting, prep, and performance techniques; and outline specific money-making value elements you can build-into your podcasts. Holland will also focus on how podcasters can become broadcasters (what you HAVE that radio stations NEED). Although podcasting is unlike radio in many ways, there are also things the two medium share and capitalizing on the successes radio has had can make you a better podcaster. Instructor: Holland Cooke of Holland Cooke Media.

I thought Mr. Cooke gave a very impressive presentation. Even though I was only listening to it now as an audio podcast, he had my full attention. It was very motivating and thought provoking for me as a content creator to get me re-thinking all my active projects.
Be sure to listen to the entire session. At the end he provides an email address to get detailed info on the topics he discussed.
