KEL Audio HM-2d Condenser Mic …
I have been recommending the KEL HM-1 microphone to media producers for over two years. In fact, we continue to include the HM-1 as part of our Entry and Intermediate Podcastrigs™ systems. What I found most interesting is that he specified based on a flat frequency response and efficient control of sibilance, the HM-2d shares similar characteristics with another one of my favorites, the SM7B. Very intriguing.

I love the HM-1 so I’d be interested to hear your review of the HM-2d. Looking forward to it.
This seems to be ideal for me as it combines a good price point with an excellent sound and depite my interest in the Shure SM7B the price is scaring me off a bit.
I pre-ordered mine. Expected to ship at the end of September.
I was just wondering if anyone had posted a review of this mic anywhere yet? I haven’t had any luck finding an indepth review yet, but it sounds like an amazing mic.
