voXover by AudioFile Engineering is a voice-over automation tool and batch recorder built to run exclusively on Mac OSX [10.4 or higher, universal binary]. This tool offers much more than a typical recording application. For example: it uses Bonjour technologies allowing log-in remote access with a Teleprompter mode for Bonjour connected clients.
Additional features include customizable script implementation/work-flows, and the capability of creating ‘takes’ based on lengths of silence and thresholds. There is an integrated rating system, and the application performs automatic trimming/padding of takes when exporting. You can also import pre-existing scripts from various text document formats. Export AIFF, WAV, Wave Editor, SDII or CAF files, and the application supports all audio hardware including support for multi channel inputs. Release date and price TBA.

It seems like a nice app, but the pricing strategy of AudioFile Engineering makes it totally inaccessible to me, like the rest of their products. But that’s their choice.
To be perfectly honest with you - I was a bit surprised when I realized the selling price of this as well. I *think* there is a similar product available that is quite popular and it is priced at the same level. … Gallery VoicePro?
And I agree, it looks like a great app. At $375 my guess is that not many in this community will find it attractive.
