C3 Multi-band Compressor Plugin …

I recommended this plugin over a year ago on a past edition of The.Point. Based on recent inquires, I thought it would be a good idea to post some information about it once again. If you are looking for a multi-band compressor plugin for Audacity for example, I suggest you check out the C3 Multi-band Compressor. You can set proprietary crossover points, adjust each band of compression independently, and engage the included peak limiter. There are some useful presets that will help you understand how to get the most out of this plugin. The package consists of both VST and AU versions. Best of all - it’s free. It’s posted as ‘donationware’.

as cool as it looks, i simply cannot get this plugin to work in protools. drop it in to the plugins folder, doesn’t come up in the rtas or audiosuite menu. the coding mustn’t follow au protocol closely enough for digidesign.

    Cootch,

There is no RTAS version to the best of my knowledge. Only VST and AU.

I can’t do nothing good with. It just seriously damages sound. Just try real processing like Waves and hear the difference. Ok Waves are far from free but they’re working.
