Metric Halo ChannelStrip for Garageband …
Here is an interesting twist – the $350 AU Channel Strip plugin by Metric Halo, is now available for $89, as an optimized Garageband plugin. This variation of the plugin will only operate at full capacity when running within Garageband. Channel Strip includes Delay, Expander/Gate, Compressor and EQ processing. This is a professional quality tool that has the potential to dramatically improve the ‘basic’ proprietary plugin support offered by Apple. There is a full demo available for download on the site.

Interesting, but my gut feel is that anyone who can figure out the interface on that thing isn’t going to be mastering with GarageBand!
Poor documentation on how to use this. I’ve been unable to locate the user interface… If anyone here knows, I’d appreciate it.

I downloaded ChannelStrip for GB3 and the manual but I don’t see how to launch the plug-in once I am in GB3. I don’t see it on any of the menus. What do I do to get it going?

Cant seem to access the demo, same as some of the other readers here, took a look at the pdf, good info, but still no info on how to access the demo software, have no idea how good it is, would love to purchase but hey I cant even locate the software, hard to say what it is like at all.
