No, the forum software is changing the link after I submit it. There should be two hyphens between ‘item’ and ‘AKGK141M’.

There seems to be two models of this headphone. K141S or K141M. Paul which are you speaking of and what is difference? I guess one is monitor and one is studio, but not sure what difference is….
John,
The ‘M’ model has an impedance rating of 600 ohms, which is useful in special studio applications, for example connecting many sets of headphones in parallel. I would go with the K141 ‘Studio’ version. The Beyer Dynamics that I use are rated at 600 ohms and besides needing a bit more input gain, the impedance rating is not an issue. My point is you would be ok with either model. Let me know what you think…you will be happy.

I also recommend the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro pair (in black or silver), which are similar to the AKGs and sound great, and also cost $100 USD.
I love these cans! They can be worn for hours and are cosy. The sound is great too! Its easy to see why most radio stations use these fellas…
